Cystistat Clinical Trials

There is currently clinical trials being done across Canada by Bioniche - the makers/distributors of Cystistat. These are being done by a select few Urologists, and your GP may not even know about it. I found out be going to an IC Support Group meeting and the Director of Operations of Bioniche was the speaker. He said that there were still might be openings, but that they might close the study/trials if nobody was interested. Interested? I was, and through him I found a trial going on close to home. You have an initial consult with the uro, and if accepted into the clinical trial, you commit for 8 weeks as you will have instillations once a week for the 8 weeks (I heard that cystistat is not covered by insurance, and that it can cost upwards of $200.00 +/- each visit! This could be why not too many are willing to try it at their uro's office.) With this study you pay nada.
